His Majesty King Abdullah II was photographed wearing hearing aids Wednesday during his meeting in Abu Dhabi with the President of the UAE, King of Bahrain, Sultan of Oman, Egyptian President and Emir of Qatar.

Sources close to the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) attributed the use of hearing aids to his field military activity with the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), and his participation in operations and maneuvers in which loud weapons were used.

The source pointed out that His Majesty sometimes uses hearing aids to help him hear more clearly.

The Supreme Commander of the JAF attends many field exercises and personally participates in some of them.
