Former Prime Minister, Taher Al-Masry, Friday confirmed that the situation in the Palestinian territories is very dangerous, and that Jordan and Palestine are in an “inferno."

He stressed that this situation requires joint efforts to stand up against the extremist Israeli Occupation government.

Masry told Roya that there are several cards in the hands of the Palestinian Authority to confront the Israeli Occupation, the most important of which is Palestinian solidarity.

He noted that the Palestinian fanctions should put aside their differences, that give Tel Aviv "a power it does not deserve," and unite as one.

He spoke about the attacks carried out by the Israeli Occupation Forces on the grave of the martyred journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh, in a scene that is "not humanly acceptable," in the absence of the international community and the powerful nations that turned a blind eye to this flagrant attack.

Masry added that the events in the occupied Palestinian territories are heading towards escalatation, in light of the violations of the new occupation government, which requires coherent popular resistance in order to preserve the lives and identity of Palestinians.

Masry stressed that the current Netanyahu government is the “most extremist” in the history of the entity, pointing to its puristic ideological cover and its recent provocative storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque through its extremist minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir.
