Hend Bustami, a Las Vegas woman of Arab descent, was arrested in California for killing her mother on Wednesday, just months after Bustami made headlines claiming police arrested her for being too good looking.

Reports said that Bustami frantically called the police at 2:37 AM saying “I think I killed my mommy,” before hanging up and fleeing their house.

When police arrived at the scene of the crime, they found the mother, Afaf Hussanen, dead with multiple stab wounds by shards of glass.

The 28-year-old was arrested a few hours later in Barstow city in California.

She confessed to killing her mother following a verbal fight and will be charged with open murder and sent back to Las Vegas, according to a statement issued by the police.

“I would have never seen this coming. She was never aggressive or mean toward anybody in the neighborhood,” a neighbor by the name Andres Moreno said about Bustami, reported KSNV.

A previous story on Bustami made headlines back in August when she claimed she was arrested at an airport because she was too good looking.

Police were called after she allegedly left an airport restaurant without paying the bill and police found her sleeping “near the security checkpoint, hindering their operations.”

Reports said that while she was being arrested, Bustami threatened to “‘spit on all [the officers]’” while saying that “‘officers were perverts and were trying to rape her because they [had] never seen anyone as good looking.’”
