Osama Al-Tarifi, Chief Operating Officer at ArabiaWeather, said that temperatures on Tuesday exceeded 40°C in some governorates of the Kingdom as well as Amman.

Tarifi told Roya, in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, that the weather will be hot and dry on Wednesday as well, just like the previous days.

He added that the weather is expected to turn very hot in the afternoon, with temperatures exceeding the 40-degree mark in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, accompanied by high humidity.

Tarifi stressed that the effect of the heatwave is expected to start declining by Saturday morning, with the weather remaining relatively hot during the day, and moderate at night.

He indicated the possibility of the wave's effect ending by mid next week.
