Jordan confirms zero deaths and 643 coronavirus cases in one week

Jordan recorded zero deaths and 643 new coronavirus cases in one week (from June 11 until June 17), bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,698,316, according to the weekly COVID-19 statistical report issued by the Ministry of Health every Sunday.

The cases are: 

-573 in Amman

-23 in Zarqa

-18 in Balqa

-13 in Irbid

-Six in Madaba

-One in Petra

-One in Ramtha

-One in Tafilah

-One in Karak

-One in Mafraq

-One in Jerash

-One in Ajloun

The total death toll stands at 14,068.

There are three patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 502 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 11,694 PCR tests were conducted in one week.

The weekly positive PCR test rate reached 5.5 percent.
