Sunday, each class period in schools returned back to 45 minutes for single-shift schools, and 40 minutes for schools that operate on a double-shift system.

This came after they had changed during the holy month of Ramadan, however, they returned back to normal after Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

According to the ministry, the morning assembly in single-shift schools begins at 7:45, while the first period begins at 8:00 a.m., and the first period for schools with two shifts begins at 7:00 a.m., while the second period begins at 11:55 a.m.
