Thursday, health sources revealed that there were no COVID-19 deaths recorded in Jordan in the past two days.

This comes after the country has been recording deaths everyday for around a year and a half.

The total number of coronavirus cases currently receiving treatment inside hospitals is 85, while the number of daily infections decreased at an average from 140 to 150 in the past days.

Hospital admission rates also decreased, amounting to nine daily cases, according to the sources.

Wednesday, the World Health Organization announced that the number of weekly deaths, as a result of infection with the coronavirus, decreased by 43 percent worldwide.
