Thursday, data issued by the Central Bank of Jordan showed an increase in the country’s revenues from tourism income during the first two months of 2022, by $306.3 million, in comparison to the $462.3 million revenues in the first two months of 2021.

This came as a result of the increase in the number of tourists during the past two months by about 265,000, to reach 387,000.

At the monthly level, the same data showed an increase in tourism income for February 2022 by $148 million, from its level during the same month last year, reaching $220 million.

This came as a result of an increase in the number of tourists during the same month by 126 thousand, reaching 182 thousand.
