Jordan records 11 deaths and 6,951 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 11 deaths and 6,951 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,141,048.

The toll has risen to 13,073.

The cases are:

-3,284 in Amman

-937 in Irbid

-792 in Zarqa

-394 in Balqa

-341 in Karak

-277 in Jerash

-253 in Madaba

-193 in Mafraq

-176 in Ajloun

-128 in Aqaba

-80 in Ma'an

-58 in Ramtha

-38 in Tafilah

A total 129 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 70 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 680 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 45,768 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 25,576 PCR tests were conducted.

Sunday, 19.54 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 17.32 percent Saturday.
