Jordan recorded 12 deaths and 3,493 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,100,967.

The death toll has risen to 12,986.

The cases are:

-121 in Ma'an

-116 in Mafraq

-96 in Jerash

-83 in Madaba

-56 in Ajloun

-49 in Aqaba

-45 in Karak

-Five in Ramtha

A total 92 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 69 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 608 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 26,772 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 29,681 PCR tests were conducted.

Sunday, 11.77 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 8.83 percent Saturday.
