Thursday, the media spokesperson for the Ministry of Education Ahmed Al-Masaafa said that 88 percent of the Tawjihi students participating in the supplementary exams received the coronavirus vaccine.
Masaafa added to Roya’s Akhbar AlSabea that students who received one dose of the vaccine or did not receive the vaccine must bring a valid PCR test result.
The Tawjihi supplementary exams began Thursday, Dec. 30.
A total of 29,095 male and female students sat for the first supplementary exam.
The Ministry of Education said that there are 421 exam centers in Jordan that have 1,012 halls.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education said that students who are set to take the supplementary examinations for the year 2021 and have not been able to receive any dose of the coronavirus vaccine or have received only one dose of it, must obtain a negative PCR test result valid for a maximum of 48 hours before the exam.
The ministry said in a statement that Roya received a copy of, that students must show the PCR test result to those concerned to allow them to enter the examination hall.
