Adviser to the Prime Minister for Health Affairs, responsible for the coronavirus file, Adel Belbisi, said that the decision was taken by the ministry after a recommendation from the Epidemics Committee, according to Jordan TV.

Sunday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 295 new infections with the Omicron variant in Jordan.

Belbisi said in a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), that the confirmed cases of Omicron in Jordan reached 328.
