Tuesday, the relevant authorities in Zarqa detained a coronavirus patient for violating home quarantine measures.

The governor of Zarqa Hijazi Assaf said that the individual, who is in his thirties, was detained and transferred to Prince Hamzah Hospital for institutional quarantine.

The man will also be referred to the judiciary after completing his quarantine period, according to Hijazi.

Hijazi lastly called on citizens to adhere to precautionary measures, which include social distancing, wearing face masks and avoiding gatherings.
