Health Ministry reveals occupancy rates in hospitals which treat coronavirus patients

The government’s daily coronavirus announcement revealed the occupancy rates in hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients across Jordan as of Wednesday, Dec. 8.

The occupancy rates in hospitals in northern region:

-Isolation beds: 27 percent

-Intensive care units: 48 percent

-Artificial respirators: 32 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in central region:

-Isolation beds: 30 percent

-Intensive care units: 43 percent

-Artificial respirators: 27 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in southern region:

-Isolation beds: 11 percent

-Intensive care units: 8 percent

-Artificial respirators: 8 percent

Jordan recorded 33 deaths and 5,180 new coronavirus cases Wednesday.
