Jordan records 30 deaths and 6,392 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 30 deaths and 6,392 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 988,159.

The death toll has risen to 11,817.

The cases are:

-2,866 in Amman

-1,169 in Irbid

-642 in Zarqa

-536 in Balqa

-294 in Mafraq

-226 in Jerash

-185 in Madaba

-168 in Ajloun

-111 in Karak

-74 in Aqaba

-62 in Tafilah

-41 in Ramtha

-18 in Ma'an

A total 193 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 132 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,190 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 64,437 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 61,337 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 10.42 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 10.72 percent Monday.
