The Ministry of Interior confirmed that there is no change in defense orders regarding wedding halls and the establishment of parties, stressing that the previously granted permits to parties and events are still valid.

The Ministry said in a press release today, Friday, that it will be intensifying inspection campaigns to ensure that facilities adhere to health protocols and defense orders to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The statement stressed the need for celebration facilities to adhere to the permitted procedures and not to allow entry to anyone who does not hold the Sanad app ‘green’ status.

The Ministry of Interior noted that entry to wedding and party halls requires that a person be vaccinated with two doses or carry a negative PCR test (green status).

As of the start of next year, employees of the public and private sectors and visitors to public and private institutions and establishments will not be allowed to enter these facilities without having received two doses of the vaccine, according to the Ministry of Interior.
