Jordan records 29 deaths and 2,674 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 29 deaths and 2,674 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 939,293.

The death toll has risen to 11,515.

The cases are:

-830 in Amman

-774 in Irbid

-347 in Zarqa

-191 in Mafraq

-140 in Balqa

-112 in Ramtha

-81 in Madaba

-57 in Ajloun

-50 in Karak

-32 in Aqaba

-29 in Jerash

-16 in Tafilah

-14 in Ma'an

-One in Petra

A total 165 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 101 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,037 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 49,622 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 30,296 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 8.83 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 8.94 percent Friday.
