Jordan records 16 deaths and 4,324 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 16 deaths and 4,324 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 919,173.

The death toll has risen to 11,377.

The cases are:

-1,781 in Amman

-916 in Irbid

-466 in Zarqa

-314 in Balqa

-167 in Madaba

-150 in Jerash

-147 in Mafraq

-146 in Karak

-103 in Ajloun

-76 in Aqaba

-29 in Tafilah

-22 in Ma'an

-Four in Ramtha

-Three in Petra

A total 153 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 99 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 880 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 40,807 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 46,672 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 9.26 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 9.51 percent Sunday.
