Jordan records 14 deaths and 1,602 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 14 deaths and 1,602 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 853,012.

The death toll has risen to 10,965.

The cases are:

-753 in Amman

-336 in Irbid

-92 in Balqa

-85 in Ajloun

-79 in Aqaba

-49 in Mafraq

-39 in Ma''an

-36 in Ramtha

-30 in Tafilah

-26 in Zarqa

-26 in Jerash

-22 in Karak

-20 in Madaba

-Nine in Petra

A total of 104 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 105 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 588 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 18,234 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 33,008 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 4.85 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 5.40 percent Sunday.
