The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that information was received from the teams of the Drug Enforcement Administration about unknown persons using an abandoned apartment in Amman to hide quantities of narcotics inside it.

The spokesperson added that the teams were able to determine the location of the apartment.

By searching the apartment, a quantity of decorative stones were found, in which the perpetrators used to hide 60,000 narcotic pills inside them.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the whereabouts of the perpetrators.
