Health Ministry reveals occupancy rates in hospitals which treat coronavirus patients

The government’s daily coronavirus announcement revealed the occupancy rates in hospitals designated to treat COVID-19 patients across Jordan as of Thursday, Sept. 23.

The occupancy rates in hospitals in northern region:

-Isolation beds: seven percent

-Intensive care units: 18 percent

-Artificial respirators: eight percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in central region:

-Isolation beds: 13 percent

-Intensive care units: 27 percent

-Artificial respirators: 10 percent

The occupancy rates in hospitals in southern region:

-Isolation beds: 10 percent

-Intensive care units: 10 percent

-Artificial respirators: 13 percent

Jordan recorded eight deaths and 913 new coronavirus cases Thursday.
