Jordan records eight deaths and 913 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded eight deaths and 913 new coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 817,487.

The death toll has risen to 10,654.

The cases are:

-339 in Amman

-137 in Irbid

-116 in Zarqa

-52 in Mafraq

-41 in Aqaba

-39 in Balqa

-35 in Tafilah

-34 in Karak

-33 in Ma'an

-30 in Ajloun

-26 in Jerash

-15 in Madaba

-14 in Ramtha

-Two in Petra

A total of 77 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 67 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 485 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,273 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 30,650 PCR tests were conducted.

Thursday, 2.98 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.84 percent Wednesday.
