Jordan records four deaths and 1,028 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded four deaths and 1,028 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 816,574.

The death toll has risen to 10,637.

The cases are:

-418 in Amman

-148 in Irbid

-77 in Zarqa

-70 in Balqa

-58 in Mafraq

-45 in Jerash

-44 in Ajloun

-41 in Aqaba

-41 in Karak

-40 in Ma'an

-17 in Tafilah

-14 in Madaba

-11 in Petra

-Four in Ramtha

A total of 68 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 69 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 483 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,248 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 26,793 PCR tests were conducted.

Wednesday, 3.84 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.18 percent Tuesday.
