Jordan recorded eight deaths and 958 new coronavirus cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 789,474.

The death toll has risen to 10,293.

The cases are:

-53 in Balqa

-50 in Ajloun

-48 in Tafilah

-40 in Ma'an

-35 in Karak

-30 in Jerash

-14 in Mafraq

-13 in Aqaba

-Five in Madaba

-Four in Petra

A total of 77 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 78 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 12,310 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 652 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 27,682 PCR tests were conducted.

Sunday, 3.46 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 2.18 percent Saturday.
