The pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca announced Thursday that the value of its coronavirus vaccine sales reached 1.17 billion dollars in the first half of 2021.

The Swedish-British group said in a statement that this figure represents the delivery of about 319 million doses worldwide.

Sales to Europe amounted to $572 million and to emerging countries $455 million, according to the statement.
