Sunday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin confirmed that the government does not force anyone to take the coronavirus vaccine.

In an interview with Husna FM, Dudin reiterated that the Ministry of Health will begin administering the coronavirus vaccine to those over the age of 15 without prior appointments after Eid al-Adha holiday. 

Two days ago, the Minister of Health Feras Hawari confirmed that receiving the vaccine without an appointment will be available for people over 15 years of age, and then gradually for ages over 12 years.

Since the beginning of the national coronavirus vaccination campaign in Jordan on Jan. 13, a total of 2,699,400 people received the first dose on the vaccine, while more than 1.8 million are fully vaccinated against the virus.
