Monday, the Director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom, said that the Delta COVID-19 mutation has been detected in more than 104 countries across the world.

Adhanom added that this variant is expected to be the dominant strain worldwide.

A total of 187,813,940 coronavirus cases and 4,052,165 deaths have been confirmed worldwide, according to the latest data published by Worldometers.
