Jordan records seven deaths and 767 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded seven deaths and 767 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 757,690.

The death toll has risen to 9,843.

The cases are:

-352 in Amman

-144 in Zarqa

-99 in Irbid

-45 in Jerash

-31 in Balqa

-17 in Karak

-16 in Mafraq

-15 in Ma'an

-15 in Madaba

-13 in Tafilah

-Nine in Ajloun

-Nine in Ramtha

-Two in Aqaba

A total of 60 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 55 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,301 active COVID-19 cases.

There are 489 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 20,640 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 8,105,340.

Monday, 3.72 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.02 percent on Sunday.
