The Jordanian table tennis athlete Faten Olaimat qualified for the upcoming Paralympic Games in Tokyo, as announced by the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) Saturday.

This came after Olaimat collected the points required in the international tournaments she participated in, the last of which was the World Table Tennis Championships in Lashko, Slovenia in early June.

Notably, the Paralympic champion Khitam Abu Awad had previously qualified for the Paralympics and ranked second worldwide in her category in table tennis.
