Thursday morning, the Minister of Health Feras al-Hawari and his Palestinian counterpart Mai al-Kaila signed an agreement between Jordan and Palestine to enhance and develop Jordanian-Palestinian cooperation in the health field.

The cooperation will include training programs for Palestinian health workers in many fields such as primary health care, environmental health and epidemiology.

The two ministers discussed transportation arrangements to and from Jordan via the bridge in light of the current COVID-19 situation, in addition to health protocols for travelers coming from the West Bank.

The health cooperation protocol came into effect as soon as the agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health in Amman.
