According to the government brief, the governorates of Aqaba, Tafila and Madaba did not record any infections with the coronavirus Saturday, in a new record for the Kingdom. 

Saturday, the Kingdom recorded five deaths and 310 infections with the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,582, and the number of cases to 742,831 since the beginning of the pandemic in March of 2020. 

The brief indicated that the percentage of positive tests amounted to 1.9 percent of the total 16,346 laboratory tests.
