The brother of the martyr, Shaher Abu Khadija, spoke Sunday about details of the incident, wherein his brother rammed his car into a number of people in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shot the man, who died soon after.

Hebrew media reported that a total of seven Israeli Occupation officers were injured as a result of the incident.

The military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, congratulated the martyrdom operation, saying, "We bless the daring and heroic operation in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which confirms the rootedness of the spirit of the revolution and the motivation of our people in Jerusalem to resist the occupation."
