Thursday, six leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and seven of their companions, who spent Wednesday in a raid of the Israeli Occupation on the Gaza Strip, were among those who were laid to rest in a funeral.

Wednesday, it was announced that the commander of the Gaza Brigade in the Al-Qassam Brigades, Basem Issa, and five other commanders, were martyred in an Israeli Occupation raid on the movement’s site.

In a speech broadcast by the Hamas-affiliated Al-Aqsa TV, Abu Ubaidah, the spokesman for the Brigades, named those who were killed.

He added that every price that the Palestinian resistance factions pay is a sacrifice for Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem.

Abu Ubaida said that "it is not strange for the heroes of the resistance to become martyrs." He stressed that "there are no red lines when it comes to responding to the Zionist enemy."

The funeral was attended by at least 2,000 people in the Great Omari Mosque in the center of Gaza City before a march set out towards the cemetery of Sheikh Radwan, north of Gaza City, to see the bodies buried.

The mourners chanted, "We are not afraid of the bombing, we are not afraid of death."

In Gaza, 83 people were reported killed since Monday -- including 17 children -- and more than 480 people wounded as heavy bombardment by the Israeli Occupation has rocked the crowded coastal enclave and brought down entire tower blocks.

Thursday, Al-Qassam launched a missile with a range of 250 km at Ramon Airport in southern Israeli Occupation, which is the second largest airport in the state, in response to the killing of its leaders.

Inside the Israeli Occupation, seven people were confirmed dead since Monday.

The Israeli Occupation, with its increasingly advanced US-funded military sources, said it had hit Gaza targets more than 600 times, while Hamas had fired over 1,600 rockets towards the Israeli Occupation.
