Friday morning, tens of thousands of Palestinians performed the Eid Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

Earlier Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf released a statement saying that due to the current security situation in Gaza Strip and the COVID-19 situation in Palestine, Eid Prayer will be held inside mosques only.

The ministry called on Palestinians to abide by health and safety measures, which strictly prohibit holding Eid prayers in central squares.
