Jordan recorded 26 deaths and 855 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 721,853.

The death toll has risen to 9,151.

The cases are:

-237 in Amman

-223 in Irbid, including 20 in Ramtha

-92 in Zarqa

-53 in Balqa

-51 in Mafraq

-44 in Karak

-37 in Tafilah

-30 in Jerash

-26 in Ajloun

-25 in Madaba

-24 in Ma'an, including 12 in Petra

-13 in Aqaba

A total of 84 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 104 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 5,400 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,910 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 707,302.

There are 859 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 19,732 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 6,877,657.

Tuesday, 4.33 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 5.54 percent on Monday.
