Jordan recorded 33 deaths and 1,022 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 720,998.

The death toll has risen to 9,125.

The cases are:

-385 in Amman

-161 in Irbid, including 22 in Ramtha

-129 in Zarqa

-77 in Balqa

-49 in Mafraq

-48 in Karak

-35 in Tafilah

-31 in Jerash

-31 in Madaba

-27 in Aqaba

-25 in Ma'an, including four in Petra

-24 in Ajloun

A total of 109 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 135 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 6,481 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,815 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 705,392.

There are 902 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 18,455 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 6,857,925.

Monday, 5.54 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 4.96 percent on Sunday.
