Sunday morning, the Chilean football team, Club Deportivo Palestino, declared, once again, its solidarity towards the Palestinian cause, in light of the events happening to Palestinians in Jerusalem by the hands of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

The footballers wore black and white chequered Palestinian keffiyehs, a symbol of solidarity among activists supporting the Palestinian cause.

Before the start of their match Saturday in the Chilean League, the players entered the field wearing the Palestinian scarf around their necks and faces.

The team is a voice for the Palestinian cause not only in Chile, but in South America and the world, according to Sputnik news agency.

In Spanish, the word 'Palestino' translates into 'Palestinian.'
