The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said Monday that firefighting and ambulance teams in the Ajloun Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) extinguished a fire that broke out inside a house in the Anjara area, Ajloun due to an electrical short.

Three people suffered from shortness of breath after inhaling the fumes which emanated from the fire, said the spokesman.

He pointed out that ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured, and transferred them to Al-Iman Governmental Hospital, adding that their health condition was described as moderate.

The media spokesman added that the firefighting teams moved to the site managed to effectively extinguish it while preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring areas.
