Al-Qadisiyah Youth Center organized, in cooperation with the Tafilah Youth Directorate, Saturday, a remote educational seminar on 'cyber bullying', targeting the youth sector in the Busayra and Qadisiyah Brigades.

The lecturer reviewed the different methods of cyber bullying, which include insults, demeaning behavior, harassment, marginalization, isolation, exclusion, threats, extortion and deception, all the way to impersonation, defamation and disclosure of privacy.

He referred to traditional forms of bullying such as verbal, physical and emotional bullying, warning that there is another form of bullying that is just as significant, which is cyber bullying.

The participants in the seminar discussed methods of electronic bullying and the harm resulting from it, and the role of the family, school and society in treating bullying in order to overcome its seriousness, as the bully is usually unknown to the victim online.

The director of the Tafilah Youth Directorate, Osama Al Khawaldeh, stated that the directorate and its centers in the region are working on implementing an educational and advisory plan aimed at raising awareness among the youth sector, about the issues, problems and issues spread in our societies.

He pointed out that the conference aims to spread awareness about the axes of cyberbullying and the importance of not entering into unknown websites online.
