There have been increased attacks on worshippers at Al Aqsa through the first week of Ramadan, according to Palestinian media. 

The IOF Tuesday stormed the mosque and cut the wires of loudspeakers so that the call to prayer would be less audible in surrounding areas. 

Israeli Occupation citizens have also destroyed ancient minarets near the mosque. 

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalaileh Wednesday condemned Israeli Occupation storming of the holy mosque. 

Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry Daifallah Al-Fayez said that the Israeli Occupation's actions were 'provocation' against all Muslims, and a violation of international law.
