More than 13,000 people received second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Palestine

The Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila announced that a total of 140,932 people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Sunday.

She added that 13,167 received the second dose of the vaccine.

Palestine confirmed 22 deaths and 2,235 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, Kaila said.

Feb. 2, Palestine began its national COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
