Monday, the head of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Nayef Bakhit said the authority will announce a package of economic, commercial and tourism measures to reopen all sectors after Eid al-Fitr, if all citizens in Aqaba register for COVID-19 vaccination on the Ministry of Health's official online platform. 

In a press statement, Bakhit said that registration on the platform will enable Aqaba to open all sectors by June 1, in addition to ease lockdown and curfew measures.
