Sunday, the head of the Parliamentary Committee that follows up on the recommendations of the House of Representatives related to the coronavirus pandemic MP Khalil Attia said the Committee will hold a meeting this week with the stakeholders at the Ministry of Health and the National Committee for Epidemics.
The goal of the meeting is to follow up on the government's actions in response to the recommendations of the House of Representatives regarding the coronavirus crisis.
During a committee meeting Sunday, a number of MPs submitted proposals that aim to reduce the number of COVID-19 infections. They called on the government to obligate all age groups to get vaccinated and stressed the need for vaccination awareness campaigns in coordination with various media outlets. They pointed out the need to clearly indentify the places where people can receive the vaccine. They also stressed the importance of employing additional healthcare staff in hospitals and vaccinating them as soon as possible.
