Jordan records 26 deaths and 4,594 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 26 deaths and 4,594 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 391,090.

The death toll has risen to 4,701.

The cases are:

-3,118 in Amman

-335 in Balqa

-276 in Irbid, including 16 in Ramtha

-163 in Aqaba

-155 in Madaba

-133 in Mafraq

-129 in Zarqa

-81 in Ajloun

-74 in Jerash

-51 in Karak

-48 in Ma'an, including 11 in Petra

-31 in Tafilah

A total of 295 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 167 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 37,790 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 2,312 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 348,599.

There are 1,526 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 33,462 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,600,197.

Sunday, 13.73 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
