The Director of the National Immunization Program at the Ministry of Health Kamel Abu-Sel Tuesday announced that the second shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will arrive in Jordan without any delay in early February. An additional quantity of the vaccine will arrive in the Kingdom as part of the COVAX initiative this week.

He pointed out that the ministry has designated Thursdays to vaccinate people who missed their vaccination appointments on other days.

The Assistant Secretary General for Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health Ghazi Sharkas Tuesday said 30-35 percent of those who were given a vaccination appointment did not get vaccinated.
