One child drowned and another was injured in the King Abdullah Channel in Balqa, announced  the General Directorate of Civil Defence (CDD) in Balqa Wednesday.

The diving teams from the CDDs of Balqa and west of Irbid rescued one child and recovered the body of another. The injured child was transported to Princess Iman Governmental Hospital and is in good health condition.
