Used PCR tests from Al-Bashir Hospitals have been removed and disposed of in a safe manner Wednesday.

The tests were placed in special-sealed bags, and the employee assigned to safely manage the disposals wore protective gear while placing them in specific containers.

The containers were transported to buildings where they are placed into a machine which safely disposes of the used tests.

The surge in new coronavirus infections in Jordan has seen a demand for increased PCR tests being used with about 18,000 to 26,000 tests conducted daily.
