Thursday on Hayat FM Radio, Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat denied allegations of Jordan having any faulty facemasks following the donation of face masks from the Aqaba factory that yesterday recorded nearly 2,000 coronavirus cases.

He said the factory only donated masks to the Ministry of Health last March once, stressing the factory obtained raw materials from another source, and only used them to manufacture masks.

Officials from the Ministry of Health went to Aqaba to follow up on the matter, stressing that matters are under control.
