The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced he tested positive for COVID-19 Monday.

“There are no lucky people for whom #COVID19 does not pose a threat. Despite all the quarantine measures, I received a positive test,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter, adding that he will continue working remotely.

Zelensky added he is in good health condition, "I will overcome COVID19 as most people do. It's gonna be fine!"

Additionally, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andriy Yermak has also said he contracted the virus. Yermak said he is feeling fine and will participate in a quadripartite video conference of the advisors of the Ukrainian, Russian, French and German heads of state on the peace process in eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine has a total of 469,018 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the beginnig of the crisis, and 8,565 deaths.
