More than 500 nursing staff members have tested positive for coronavirus in Jordan, said the head of the Jordanian Nurses & Midwives Council (JNMC) Khalid Al-Rababa on Roya's Nabd Albalad Sunday.

No deaths have been recorded among Jordanian nurses who tested positive for the virus, he added.

Healthcare workers in Jordan are under a lot of pressure and the priorities of the Jordanian health sector must be rearranged, said Al-Rababa

There is a shortage of a number of medical consumables and supplies that protect the healthcare workers from COVID-19, which Al-Rababa said he will communicate with the Ministry of Health about to solve the problem.
